I first met Patrizia in December 2020, we connected on linkedin and after a few messages Patrizia agreed to speak at our NSW Rosehill Distribution Centre. The audience included our executive team, operations management and our front line delivery and warehouse teams. Although our business has always had a great safety culture, it is not enough. Through Patrizia and the Touched by Christopher Foundation we have now had talks at all of our sites around Australia reaching well over 1000 team members. Each talk we have seen a huge shift in the way we manage safety, with the big takeaway being the drive to be proactive in how we manage safety and the risk within our business. Touched by Christopher Foundation resonated to me on a personal and professional level, as a parent there is nothing that drives me more in life than to create a safe future for my family. As a leader of an operations business that completes thousands of deliveries each day, hundreds of installations on building sites and a huge warehouse footprint with pedestrians and plant equipment it was important for us to continue to be innovative and proactive in our approach to safety. Patrizia and the Touched by Christopher Foundation is something I can honestly say I am proud to be a part of, and by far one of the best things I have ever been a part of.
