The Touched by Christopher Foundation is now in its 3rd year and we are finally excited to announce our First Gala Memorial Dinner which is finally being held at the NEW Doltone House Marconi on the 26th of March 2022.
The foundation was founded after a tragic incident occurred on a jobsite in Macquarie Park, that took Christopher Cassaniti’s life on the 01st of April 2019
The Gala Dinner will be an annual event which significantly commemorates Christopher’s life being his birthday on the 27th of March and memorial of when he gained his wings, 4 days later. In 2022 Christopher would have been 21 years old.
The Touched by Christopher foundation raises money to help families who have lost a loved one in Construction in NSW by providing the family with 3 months’ worth of groceries and pay any outstanding utilities. This came about after Robert and Patrizia Cassaniti were overwhelmed by the outpouring and generosity of the public that they wanted to give back and know the importance of grieving without the everyday burdens of bills that need paying, because when someone in construction dies it is usually the bread winner and compensation does not come for a long time.
As the foundation establishes and grows, our long-term goal is to also include 3 months’ worth of Mortgage or Rent. As well, as to extend the Foundation’s help to all families that have endured workplace death and go national.
NO AUSTRALIAN SHOULD EVER GO TO WORK AND NOT COME HOME, but unfortunately the incidents keep happening.
We hope you can join us to make our first Gala Dinner a success.

1 Safety Toolbox Talk or Corporate presentation to your company delivered and sponsored by Patrizia Cassaniti – Let’s Talk about Safety PTY LTD (valued at $7700)
Logo displayed on the Hilux for the year, that is driven all around NSW (see picture of Hilux in the Gallery)
Patrizia is an International award-winning work health and safety advocate with a compelling and confronting life story. In 2021, she won the Gold Stevie award as Maverick of the year, which recognizes the achievements of female individuals who have affected positive change on their companies and/or industries. Upon the times of COVID -19 lockdowns and online presentations, Patrizia became certified by e-speakers as a Virtual Presenter. She shares the crucial lessons everyone in construction, manufacturing and engineering need to hear to shift out complacency and create a safe working environment for themselves and all their work mates.
Her devastating story is of a tragedy that was never an accident, but an incident waiting to happen, all because of complacency that took her 18-year-old son’s life.
Be prepared for an emotional and inspiring journey with this powerful and potentially life-saving session where the usual ‘she’ll be right mate’ or 'it won’t happen to me’ situation will make you evaluate your daily work practices and make your family the reason why you work safe every day.
She has had extensive coverage on the media, 60 minutes and Morning shows and has helped develop an App together with SafeWork NSW, that allows workers to speak up anonymously. Her safety advocacy led her to complete a CERT IV in Work Health and Safety to educate herself, so she can reign new laws in her son’s honor, by bringing tougher penalties and greater consequences for unsafe work practices. Her foundation, Touched by Christopher Ltd, raises money to help families who have lost a loved one in construction, financially, so that they can grieve without the everyday burden.
Your logo will also be placed on the Ute owned by Let’s talk about safety, which is driven on Jobsites around Sydney delivering the safety message of STOP SPEAK UP SAVE LIVES
* Plaque presented on the night. Acknowledging Diamond status.
